It all started in 2010 over a Beer among three friends, as most good ideas do. The idea of setting up the most Extreme Zipline in the world seemed to be a promising prospect, and a perfect fit for a country like Nepal with its mountainous and rugged terrain.
Finding a suitable launch and landing spot was one of the most challenging aspects of the entire project. Over a period of one year, we surveyed several locations and finally settled upon our Sarangkot as the launch spot and Hemja as the landing spot due to their strategic location and distance from Pokhara, a major tourist hub in Nepal.
The construction of the ZipFlyer started in June 2011. Due to the nature of the terrain, the ZipFlyer had to be engineered from the ground up using custom tower and braking system designs.
The World's most Incredible Zipline - The ZipFlyer was finally completed and opened in 2012. Since its inception, over 250 thousand people have experienced the ride.
HighGround adventures opened its 70m tower bungee in 2014. Over 70 thousand people have experienced the thrill since its inception.
